Release notes - February 1, 2021

Salesforce Lightning Web Component:

• Real-time message updates from Slack. The LWC will now show the user when new messages are in a linked Slack channel, and allow the user to update the chat window with those messages:
• Design-time editor now allows options for selecting Slack channels not directly related to the object:
  • If the object is an Account, allows displaying related objects linked Slack Channels. This is useful when wanting a full picture of all conversations related to an Account
  • If the object is a Lead or Contact, allows displaying any linked Slack channels that share the same email address. This is useful when used in conjunction with the Salesforce Gmail Component. 

Salesforce Flow Action Element

• Action element now supports Flow resources in the Message. For example, if you have a Variable resource in your flow, that can be placed into a message. For example, adding the Opportunity Amount Field to the Slack message as variable from the Flow:
