Editing Salesforce records in Slack

A posted Centro message with a Salesforce record can be edited with a similar dialog as the New record modal. However, unlike the New record model, the existing data is populated for users to update. 

From any posted message, find the overflow menu:

A modal dialog will display with the fields and sections of the page layout for the selected object. The data will be populated in the modal as well: 

Click Save, and the posted message will be updated as well as the Salesforce record.
